Brazilian Communication Program

Organization: Childhood Brazil
Project: Brazilian Communication Program
Location: Brazil
Target Group: Children who are victims of abuse and exploitation

The Communication Program focuses on mobilizing, informing, preventing, and educating the society on sexual violence against children and adolescents. Communication is used as a strategic tool for the mobilization, information, prevention, and education of society on sexual abuse and exploitation of children. Communication is also used to start a dialogue with partner organizations, the society, journalists, and communication students. The program aims to guarantee the quality of the information produced and promoted, to increase presence in the media as source of information regarding issues connected to children at risk for abuse, scale up actions from projects to reach a wider audience, and to work with public awareness management to provide consistent information about Childhood, its programs, results and mission.
