Childhood USA acts as a liaison between donors and community-based organizations and is currently supporting over 10 projects across the US. We identify, review and support existing projects and new initiatives that are aligned with the Childhood mission: preventing violence and the sexual abuse of children.
Rather than focusing on a single project, Childhood USA acts as a broker between community-based organizations in the field and the funders who donate to the cause. We review existing projects according to set guidelines and evaluate each one to ensure that they fulfill required quality-checks and results.
Other than our projects, Childhood USA also strives to prevent child sexual abuse and violence through:
Campaigns and Initiatives
#EyesWideOpen is our advocacy platform, designed to mobilize people to take action in addressing the global challenge of child sexual abuse via social media and by learning how to protect the children in their lives.
The Stewards of Children toolkit is a first-of-its-kind mobile app that will equip adults with the skills and resources necessary to recognize, prevent, and respond to child sexual abuse.
Childhood USA is a member of several partnerships, one of which is the Global Partnership To End Violence Against Children, a public-private partnership where actors from all sectors can work together to prevent and respond to Violence Against Children.
World Childhood Foundation is accredited by the United Nations. Among other things, we collaborate with them to see SDG 16.2 fulfilled by the 2030 deadline.
