''I am finally feeling happy again''.

Project Parent-Infant Intervention Home Visiting Program makes home visits to disadvantaged families with small children in order to prevent neglect, abuse of children and to prevent child abandonment. The text below is a thank you from a mother to the staff at Parent Centre.

"I do not dare to go to the health center, I can not trust the staff. I have HIV and am taking antiretroviral drugs and they simply do not understand me. I want to thank you because I like to talk to you so much and you help me understand what is going on with my baby. I know that you understand me and that you do not look down on me because I am HIV positive. You do not stigmatize as many others do. Thank you very much for giving me all the information I need. I am finally feeling happy again. "
