Nebraska-raised, Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Duane Harriott has been at the forefront of the NYC underground music scene for over 18 years as a DJ, record store clerk, producer, and event planner. Whether he’s deejaying a NYPL 50 Years of Hip Hop block party or rocking an underground disco-themed after-party for an acclaimed NYC fashion designer, Duane feels most at home behind a pair of DJ decks, making people move. He was a founding resident DJ of the legendary NYC Negroclash parties, the host of the acclaimed *Duane Train* radio program on WFMU, and is currently half of the celebrated disco production team Devin Dare. Devin Dare has released raw, disco-jackin’ edits on Chicago-based Stilov4Music, Apron Records, and MisterioLabel. These productions have landed in the crates of acclaimed DJs around the world, including Peanut Butter Wolf, Funkineven, Kyle Hall, Theo Parrish, Danny Krivit, Ricardo Villalobos, DJ Spinna, and Stretch Armstrong. A true veteran of the DJ game, his soulful, eclectic, disco-inspired sets encompass everything from Northern soul, NYC disco, and R&B classics to high-tech 21st-century soul, ’90s deep house, and exclusive disco edits.
