Alaska Children’s Trust – Alaska Children’s Trust Online Safety for Young Children

With Childhood USA’s Support, ACT has produced an Online Safety Adventure Comic Book and parent guide (K-9 Sunny’s Online Adventures) that will reach up to 25,000 children and 15,000 adults through CSAE awareness and education across the state of Alaska.

Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas – Building Public Will to Prevent Child Sexual Abuse in Texas
Texas
CACTX has a network of 70 CACs across Texas. The campaign targets adults, caregivers, and those interacting with children professionally or personally. The pilot runs in four diverse Texas regions, with the goal of a statewide launch and eventual national rollout. Normalizing proactive CSA prevention conversations using trusted, diverse voices.

Grades K-12. Ten Massachusetts school districts in a year-long initiative to adopt comprehensive strategies to prevent child sexual abuse (CSA). Training for 5,000 teachers and administrators in 50-60 schools.
PACT – Youth Against Child Trafficking (Y-ACT)

Engaging youth in advocating against sexual exploitation and empowering them to utilize what they learn to serve as peer educators protecting other youth in their communities.
Prevent Child Abuse Vermont – The Creating Protective Equity Project
Burlington, VT
Addresses the heightened risk of child sexual abuse for Native Tribes in Alaska and Native Tribes and Spanish-first-language families in NewMexico, by providing training to adults who live with and/or work with children to strengthen both professionals’ and families’ knowledge and skills about preventing child sexual abuse.

MASOC – Massachusetts Child and Adolescent Assessment Protocol (M-CAAP)

In an effort to intervene in the pattern of stigmatization and punitive targeting of youth with problematic sexual behavior, MASOC trains clinicians across Massachusetts to use the M-CAAP – an assessment protocol that demands a clinician look at the whole child, and not exclusively at their problematic sexual behaviors.

Baylor School of Medicine – Using Validated Screening Tools to Identify and Protect Children Victims of CSEA in an Urban Academic Emergency Room
Houston, TX
Aim of program is to implement a comprehensive screening process in the emergency room setting to identify and protect children at risk of sex trafficking. Long-term goal is to see these validated screening tools implemented in hospitals throughout the US.
The Bridge for Youth – Intervention, Prevention, and Support for Youth Experiencing Homelessness
Minnesota
Connects with youth in the Twin Cities currently homeless, or at risk of experiencing homelessness, and disrupts the cycle of sexual exploitation by providing a continuum of basic needs services which empower youth to get off the streets, and increase their levels of safety, housing stability and self-sufficiency.
Coalition for Responsible Home Education – Recognizing and Preventing Abuse and Neglect of At-Risk Homeschooled Children
Stoughton, MA
Awareness building and virtual training for child welfare professionals on the prevalence of, and best practices in response to CSEA within homeschooling environments. In 2025 online courses will be developed and offered and a facilitator-led training program is being created.
Girls for Gender Equity – Sisters In Strength
Brooklyn, NY
Direct service program for cis and trans girls and gender non-conforming survivors of sexual violence ages 15-19, promoting healing and teaching them advocacy skills to lead change in their communities to end gender-based violence.
Holly’s House – Bridging the Mental Health Care Gap for Child Survivors of Sexual Abuse
Evansville, Indiana
12 Week Program for children and families dealing with CSEA. Offers help during the peri-traumatic era. Program reduces children (73%) and parental (62%) symptoms of PTSD while promoting healthy family communication in a short time frame.
The Link – Preventing Youth Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking through The Link’s Dignity House
Minneapolis, MN
Dignity House serves youth 9 -17 with 58% being under 15. The focus is on enhancing trafficking prevention efforts in the growing threat of exploitation and trafficking by strengthening online safety education.
