Legal Services for Children pioneered the social worker/attorney model for case management. LSC believes that children who have experienced significant abuse and are facing further abuse, homelessness, exclusion from school and deportation, require services that go far beyond those of typical attorneys. Their clients are extremely vulnerable immigrant children, who fled extreme violence and abuse and require trauma-informed services to build healthy relationships and resiliency.
