Rose Kirk

Rose Stuckey Kirk is a visionary leader often called upon to take under-performing departments and business units and move them to profitability and sustainability. She has a strong track record identifying new business opportunities and improving the performance of profit-and-loss functions within a corporation. Skilled in building top- performing teams, and driving results from sales, marketing, customer care, wholesale operations, product development, and strategy, Rose is extremely effective in working in highly-matrixed environments. She has been rewarded for her keen insight into customer needs and possesses a relatability that creates success in managing unionized workforces. She is a highly sought-after speaker, advisor, and mentor.
As Chief Corporate Social Responsibility Officer and Marketing Executive for Verizon, Rose oversees the strategic direction for all marketing activities related to Verizon’s social impact assets and is accountable for driving responsible business practices into all Verizon business operations. She directs the programmatic build and investment strategy for the company’s CSR portfolio and oversees the company’s marketing talent development. Rose began her career as a print journalist for a New York Times subsidiary segueing her investigative and problem-solving skills into Corporate America.
In addition to her board service listed above, Rose is a member of the Executive Leadership Council; C-200, a pre-eminent global organization for women business leaders; and the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Leadership Council. An award-winning journalist and the executive producer of the documentary Without A Net: The Digital Divide in America, Rose holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Arkansas State University and is completing a Masters in International Affairs at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
