Juju Chang
Multiple Emmy Award-winning journalist, co-anchor of ABC News’ NightlineJuju Chang is an Emmy® Award-winning co-anchor of ABC News’ Nightline. She also reports regularly for Good Morning America and 20/20. Juju has covered the major breaking news for decades for ABC News and has traveled around the world to report on global issues and gender-based violence, including a trip through Central Africa on the front lines against Boko Haram. She traveled to Honduras for “Femicide: the Untold War,” an eye-opening look at rampant violence against women.
Juju has also been recognized for her in-depth personal narratives set against the backdrop of pressing national and international news. Juju’s award-winning report on violence against transgender women of color across the country caps a series of her stories on LGBTQ+ issues. Juju won a GLAAD award for her story on the 25th anniversary of Matthew Shepard’s murder and the legacy his parents have built in his honor.
Juju has profiled newsmakers like Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, former Vice President Joe Biden and Oprah Winfrey. Her extensive feature reporting covers parenting dilemmas, digital addictions and social media moguls. Juju is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a founding board member of the Korean American Community Foundation.

Ryan Ellis
Senior Investigator, Clay County Sheriff’s Office/Task Force Officer Homeland Security Investigations
Detective Ryan Ellis is a Senior Investigator with Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Florida and a Task Force Officer with Homeland Security Investigations. Ryan has been an investigator for 18 years and spent the last 14 years conducting child exploitation investigations including hands-on offenses and an array of technology-based crimes. While fighting the battle against child exploitation, Ryan has testified before legislative committees and co-authored substantial legislative changes to combat child exploitation. Ryan is the recipient of the Department of Justices’ Investigator of the year for victim crimes and Investigator of the year from his agency for case work involving the rescue/identification of child victims.
Ryan has presented case studies at the National and state ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) levels and trained hundreds of law enforcement officers in the fight against online child exploitation. During his time, he has been the lead investigator on hundreds of child exploitation investigations.
Nicki Reisberg
Digital Safety Advocate
Podcast Host, Scrolling 2 Death
Nicki Reisberg is a former social media executive turned social media reform advocate. In late 2023, Nicki launched Scrolling 2 Death, a podcast for parents who are worried about social media. It’s a safe space to elevate the human experiences of children online and educate parents on how to keep them safe.
Nicki also travels the world as an event speaker, inspiring families, educators and lawmakers through online safety education and awareness.
Melissa Stroeble
Vice President, Research & Insights, Thorn
Melissa Stroeble is the Vice President of Research & Insights at Thorn, an innovative technology nonprofit creating products and programs that combat child sexual abuse at scale. Melissa has spent nearly 20 years combating the online sexual exploitation of children as a victim identification analyst, product manager, and researcher. In her current role, she serves as a subject matter expert and drives strategic research examining emerging threats and trends in online exploitation.
Thorn’s recent research has focused on the attitudes and behaviors of minors relating to self-generated explicit imagery, unique experiences and needs for LGBTQ+ youth, emerging risks of generative AI, and the rise of financial sextortion. Thorn’s research has been featured in prominent outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Washington Post.
